Queens' Bedroom, Nixon Administration
This photograph of the Queens' Bedroom was taken in November 1971 during the adminstration of Richard M. Nixon. The photograph is attributed to by Victor Boswell, Robert S. Oakes, and Nelson Brown. The Queens' Bedroom is named for the royal guests that have stayed there, including five queens: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, Queen Wilhelmina and Queen Juliana of the Netherlands, and Queen Frederika of Greece. The bed in the center of the room may have been purchased during the Andrew Jackson administration.
